In Class – Lecture and Student-led Discussion.

Assignments- Assignments (homework) will basically be given to students on weekly basis (C-E/E-C alternatively) to put into practice what has been learned in class. Students are required to upload assignments to a platform anonymously, for being able to access to works from other classmates and have a discussion next week after their submission. Another copy of assignment with names on it will be sent to the teacher’s email box to be used as reference of evaluating whether their progress made is satisfactory.

Mid-Term Examination – The exam will comprise two pieces of translation, one for each language direction.

Final Assessment –There will be an assessment submitted in teaching week 18. Students are allowed to choose preferred direction (C-E or E-C) for their translation part of the assessment. The main components of the assessment are Product (translation) and Process (commentary), each makes up 50% of the assessment.
